ChuoSmart Terms of Service

Welcome to ChuoSmart. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully as they contain important information about your legal rights, remedies, and obligations. By accessing or using the ChuoSmart platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. User Accounts

To access certain features of our platform, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account and password
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to disable any user account if we believe you have violated these Terms.

2. Content and Conduct

When using our platform, you agree not to:

• Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Use the platform to distribute spam, malware, or engage in phishing activities
• Attempt to access areas of the platform that you are not authorized to access
• Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functioning

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable.

3. Payments and Subscriptions

For paid services on ChuoSmart:

• All payments are processed securely through our payment partners
• Prices for courses and services are displayed in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) unless otherwise noted
• Subscription fees are billed at the beginning of each billing cycle
• You can cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds are subject to our refund policy

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The content on ChuoSmart, including text, graphics, logos, and course materials, is owned by ChuoSmart or our content partners and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, display, or sell any content from the platform without permission
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without express written permission
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from materials downloaded from the platform

5. Platform Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform without notice
• Terminate or suspend access to the platform for any user for any reason
• Update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our website

Your continued use of the platform after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• ChuoSmart provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability for any claim arising from the platform is limited to the amount you paid to ChuoSmart in the preceding 12 months

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChuoSmart and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit, post, or transmit through the platform

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Our refund policy includes:

• 14-day refund period for course purchases if you're unsatisfied
• No refunds for monthly subscriptions after the payment has been processed
• Pro-rated refunds for annual subscriptions cancelled within 30 days
• No refunds for downloadable resources once access has been granted

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tanzania.
