With a lean and highly collaborative internal marketing team, the brand prioritizes thoughtful strategy, strong storytelling, and high-quality content over high-volume execution.
Responsibilities
Role Overview
The Social Media & Content Coordinator will own the brand’s social media presence end-to-end while contributing to broader content creation efforts across campaigns, email, and long-form content. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring social media supports larger brand and marketing objectives rather than operating in isolation.
The role goes beyond scheduling and posting, with responsibility for shaping content direction, creating engaging written content, and using performance insights to continuously refine what resonates with the audience.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Planning
Develop and manage a rolling 30–60 day social media content calendar focused on quality and engagement over volume.
Recommend optimal posting cadence based on performance and audience response.
Align social content with promotional calendars, product launches, trade shows, and seasonal initiatives.
Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and positioning across platforms.
Content Creation & Execution
Write clear, engaging, and on-brand social copy tailored to each platform.
Create and publish social posts using existing brand assets, photography, and light original content.
Assist with short-form video content, including basic editing for formats such as Instagram Reels and TikTok using tools like CapCut.
Collaborate with internal teams to translate campaigns, promotions, and product stories into social-ready content.
Content Marketing & Campaign Support
Draft blog posts and long-form content supporting brand storytelling, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
Repurpose blog, website, and campaign content into social posts, captions, and short-form messaging.
Write and support email marketing content for both consumer-facing promotions and retailer or trade-facing campaigns.
Contribute subject lines, headlines, and short-form body copy for email and campaign communications.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure consistent messaging across social, email, and web.
Contribute to campaign ideation by suggesting content themes, angles, and storytelling approaches.
Community Management & Growth
Monitor and engage with followers through comments and direct messages.
Foster meaningful, on-brand interactions that strengthen community and brand affinity.
Surface audience insights, questions, and feedback to inform future content and campaigns.
Analytics, Optimization & Paid Social Support
Track and report on key performance metrics, including engagement, reach, follower growth, and content performance.
Identify high-performing organic content and recommend posts for paid promotion to the internal marketing team.
Use performance data to refine content strategy, posting cadence, and creative direction over time.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the internal marketing team, design partners, and digital marketing leadership to ensure content alignment.
Participate as an integrated member of a small, collaborative marketing team, contributing ideas beyond a single channel as priorities shift.
Adapt priorities to support key marketing moments while maintaining a clear focus on social and content.
