RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in loading and offloading of samples, sample rejects and lab splits. Prepare samples for analysis including sorting, drying, crushing, pulverization Conducting analysis of samples Perform tasks in accordance with documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or recognized standard reference methods. Report any deviation from documented procedures to the Production Coordinator. Inform the Laboratory Supervisor of any nonconforming event related to customer samples, or other departmental operations. Inform the Sample Preparation Coordinator of any unsafe conditions within the department. Act in a safe and professional manner and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment. Weighing samples. Housekeeping and proper handling of waste. Follow all HSE protocols and ensure lead control measures are followed Monitor Prep QC results and report all deviations to Laboratory Supervisor. Assist with the coordination of sample movement between different lab areas Communicate general laboratory issues to the Laboratory Supervisor as appropriate. Some lifting is required, up to 25kg. Perform other duties as required by management.
